CD storage box of beautiful curly birch, all solid wood,
not veneered.
Box is decorated with ebony inlay striping
that extends around all four sides, and is trimmed with
Honduras rosewood around the top.
Box is suspended by rosewood and brass pilasters
and has rosewood and brass handles.
The top is hinged with and cut ebony hinges
and brass pins, and will open to vertical and remain open
without flopping over.
Finished with eight
coast of urethane varnish for a gleaming, high gloss
finish.
My CD boxes generally hold from 24 to 28 CD's (or
DVD's) in standard jewel cases, and nearly twice
as many in the slim cases.
Boxes are sized so that the jewel case stores label-side-up for easy identification.
Additionally, the boxes will hold nearly 100 CD's in paper sleeves.
