An
adventure in design, this box incorporates many modern
architectural elements combining rare blistered maple,
with ebony an brass detail.
The
extremely light colored maple is combined with pure
black ebony to yield a stunning contrast.
The
box body is suspended by wood and brass pilasters
on the sides.
The
top is hinged with external hand-made brass hinges;
interior bottom is lined with woven rose design fabric.
Solid wood, not veneer.
Finished
with six coats of gleaming urethane varnish for lasting
beauty and durability.
The
box is made of a single piece of extremely beautiful
blistered maple that is so rare that I've never found
one like it before. |
