with solid brass Brusso hinges

Finish - Eighteen coats of lacquer and hand rubbed

Ebonized cherry is naturally blackened with iron nitride. It is trimmed with golden Ceylon satinwood.

Front design is an epoxy-filled engraving tinted with gold metal flake.

The lid is vaulted on the inside.

Solid brass Brusso hingees allow lid to remain open in upright position.
