Bubinga laminated on cherry,

Box body is bubinga laminated
on cherry (which shows on interior) with sides
slightly curved.
End posts are ebonized solid
cherry with bubinga accents.
All parts are lacquered
and polished to a mirror finish.
Interior is
cherry with a woven golden-bee fabric liner,
an attractive gold on black.
Hinges are my trademark
outboard hinges hand made of ebony, attached
to box back and underside of lid.
The top opens
to a standing position and stops as shown.
Emphasis is on artistic design
rather than practicality for
