Blistered Maple Veneer over Solid Maple Box
with Black Ebony Accents and Handmade Brass Hinges

 

Finish - High gloss urthane varnish

9" x 5" x 3"

This name literally means "curved box."

The body is sawn from solid maple and then veneered with a rare and beautiful blistered maple.

The top is solid blistered maple and hinged with my custom brass outboard hinges; accented with pure black ebony.

Finish is eight coats of high gloss urethane varnish. Lined with red velvet.
