This long pill box is Brazilian kingwood, a true rosewood (Dalbergia Cearensis), a small tree from Brazil, so this wood is rearely seen on the commercial market.

It i notable for its purple-ish striped coloration.

This box is made with a thick, 1/8" shop-sawn veneer laminated over aspen to create a high contrast interior.

Bay dividers are also kingwood.

Finished with high gloss urethane varnish.
