High gloss urethane varnish finish

A domed keepsake box made of a particularly beautiful piece of solid tiger maple that is so light in color that, unfinished, it almost appears white.

Although the varnish finish yellows it somewhat, the color remains very light.

The pure black ebony trimming is solid wood and runs through and through.

The ends are fitted with ebony and brass accents; top is hinged with hand-made exterior brass hinges which are prominent and serve as accents.
