Description:

This box is made of thick, shop sawn chechen veneer vacuum laminated over alder.

Chechen is a wood that comes primarily from Dominican Republic. It is hard, heavy and very fine grained.

The top has solid chechen frame with an inset mosaic of cocobolo, spalted maple, masur birch and ebony.

Overall finished with 8-10 coats of machine polished acrylic lacquer.
