Description:

This box is made of a shop sawn 1/8" laminate of East Indian rosewood, aka sonokeling, over silver maple.

I chose maple because this box is deeper than most and maple lends to lightness of the interior.

The top is mediterranean olive and lacewood, finished with 12 coats of acrylic lacquer and machine polished.
