Tiger maple Box

High gloss urethane finish

This box is made from one of the most beautiful pieces of maple I've ever seen.

It appears almost translucent, like waves on crystal clear water.

All parts are from the same piece of wood.

Front design is inlaid ebony, while the top is trimmed with Honduras rosewood.

Front and side handles are rosewood and brass. Bottom is lined with ultrasuede.

The finish is eight coasts of hand-brushed urethane varnish for a gleaming high gloss finish - very durable.
