For these pill boxes, there are a variety of different woods and combinations chosen for their attractiveness. Box sizes vary slightly by 1/2" either way, but are approximately 12" long, 3" wide and 1" total thickness. Most boxes have a poplar inner tray, some cherry or maple tray.

My idea was that the pill box should look good as well, sitting on a vanity or dresser. Since I take daily meds myself, I became frustrated with those ugly, awkward plastic boxes sold by drug stores and the idea came on me to design and make my own beautiful 7 day pill organizer.

They are quite thin and also designed with the idea of travel in mind. These boxes are very durable and will tolerate light wetting (but not immersion).

These boxes are shown in "Small Jewelry Boxes" category as well. My sister in law found them perfect to organize small jewelry; tiny earrings, rings, pendants, chain bracelets and necklaces, the sort of things and urged me to sell as jewelry boxes.

This series of boxes is my response to those hideous plastic daily pill organizers -- If you've have one, you'll know exactly what I mean.

As one who has to take daily medications, I became very frustrated with those horrible plastic weekly pill dispensers sold in drug stores.

I envisioned something that was attractive to sit on top of a dresser or bathroom vanity, or anywhere else; a beautiful box that contained a seven day dispenser compartments.

The result was these boxes that have a seven day pill tray with rounded sides that makes it easy to slide pills out.
